VinEducation Presents:
A Visit to Oz… Australia, that is! The "Land Down Under" has proven itself as a powerful player in the world wine market with something for everybody (from Yellow Tail to Grange – we definitely prefer the latter!). Australia is also home to some of the world's most innovative new chefs and playful fusion cuisine.
This evening, we'll taste our way through the land of Oz, starting with crisp whites, moving on to big, bold reds, and finally to Aussie favorites – Stickies (dessert wines). As usual, Chef Annette Tomei will pair each wine with a selection of tasty tidbits highlighting the foods of the region. You can look forward to Barbie Shrimp, rock lobster, and maybe a little kangaroo for good measure! All the while, you will have the opportunity to meet other wine enthusiasts in a comfortable, stimulating environment. After the event, VinoVino's wine bar will remain open for mingling.
Please join us at VinoVino, the eclectic new Tribeca enoteca, (located at 211 West Broadway, across from the Franklin stop on the 1 line) for an evening of fabulous wines (no tails in sight, especially not the yellow variety!), Down Under fusion cuisine, and stimulating conversation with other sophisticated aficionados.
Tickets for the event must be purchased in advance. The cost of the event is $70 and includes a gratuity for the service staff. In order to insure that you have a fun time we have limited the size of the event and it can be closed at anytime. You must complete the payment process to insure your reservation.
